Hydrosammia "Fedwey"

Sale Price: $1,800.00 Original Price: $2,200.00

Hydrosammia means “water thief.”

Each Hydrosammia form is produced in a limited edition of just 20 pieces, making them highly collectable. Once the edition is complete—signed and sold—the design will never be repeated in that shape or colour. The current edition,Fledwey, is the very first of its kind. Each piece is created by the artist at Canberra Glassworks, Australia, within a broader community of skilled artisans.

We are able to ship worldwide. Please note that current orders require a wait time of approximately one month before delivery.

Owning a Hydrosammia is a unique experience. As the water flows, it creates a gentle popping sound, endlessly cycling within the vessel. The rhythm and duration of the cycle are unique to each piece and not calibrated to standard timing. If precise measurement is required, we recommend using a watch alongside the work. Each vessel is filled through a small opening, which is then permanently sealed with glass and resin to preserve the water inside.
